Infertility is officially defined as the inability to get pregnant after a year of unprotected intercourse. 10-15% of couples in the United States are infertile, 1/3 of the time it’s on the females side, 1/3 is on the males, and 1/3 is on the combination.

There are a variety of reasons a woman can be infertile, as well as these few:

• Damage to the fallopian tubes

• Hormonal Causes

• Ovulation Disorders

• Uterine or Cervical Abnormalities

• Ovarian Insufficiency

• Pelvic Adhesions

• Thyroid Problems

• Cancer and it’s treatment

• Certain Medications

Increasing your chances of conceiving may only require a conversation with your doctor about your current lifestyle and health, or more advanced measures can be taken depending on the patient.
